We have had a steady stream of home owners contacting us to harvest their fruit and an even steadier steam of interested volunteers willing to help pick!
Check out these beautiful red pears that we harvested from the mountain! Thanks to Kate for helping us identify them as "Red Anjous."
If you would like to get on the volunteer list, contact Juby, Project Co-ordinator at jlee.eatlocal(at)environmenthamilton.org to find out about upcoming picks.
Note that there is one larger pick happening at Dundurn Castle. This harvest is more of a drop-in style. Come by and help us harvest!
